Zoning By-law
In 2012, the Township of Chapple undertook the process of developing a Comprehensive Zoning By-law. As a result of many hours of work by the Township Council, the Planning Advisory Committee and the staff, the Zoning By-law was adopted by Council in March, 2013. Updates to the Zoning By-law are scheduled for 2023, with an estimated completion date of 2024. Information regarding any associated public meetings or information sessions related to the Zoning By-law updates will be posted to Chapple’s website.
The Township of Chapple is located within the Rainy River District in Northwestern Ontario and is comprised of nine (9) geographic townships including:

- Tait
- Long Sault
- Roseberry
- Shenston
- Potts
- Richardson
