🚱 Village Water Update – Please Conserve

Attention Chapple Residents:

We want to keep you informed about the current challenges affecting our water system. While no emergency has been declared, Council is actively monitoring the situation in collaboration with our Emergency Control Group and OCWA to determine next steps.

 Our well field is underperforming and not producing enough water to meet the village’s needs. Additionally, our water treatment plant requires critical upgrades, but available funding is limited.

We kindly ask all residents to conserve water wherever possible. Small changes can make a big impact:

• Do not water lawns

• Avoid car washing and power washing
• Turn off taps that are left running unnecessarily
• Fix running toilets promptly
• Take shorter showers
• Run dishwashers and laundry machines only when full

Council remains committed to finding long-term solutions and will continue to communicate openly as we move forward.
